Our electrical experience
includes the installation of medium voltage switch gear, motor
control centers, power distribution, lighting, alarm and security
systems, HVAC, and energy management systems. We power
plants, pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, sewage treatment
plants and industrial manufacturing sites.
K&T's
in-house engineering staff provides designs for small distribution
lighting systems, coordination studies and control systems.
Material
Handling Systems are a specialty of K&T Electrical
Contractors, Inc. K&T has successfully completed
numerous turnkey material handling projects for the United States
Postal Service.
K&T has completed
projects ranging from $100 to $4.5M. Our engineering staff
provides the project management and implementation resources
required to perform projects within this range. Typical
integrated solutions include the use of electromechanical devices,
PLC's, computers and graphical operator interface systems.
Projects have
been recently completed in sewage, waste water and water treatment
areas.
K&T has
the in-house ability to develop and implement computer software
solutions using DEC (VAX & Alpha), IBM (mainframe/RS6000) and
HP computers. We have experience with various operating
systems including VMS, OSF/1, Windows NT, UNIX and MS-Windows.
Our software solutions are based on Client/Server architecture
using X11/Motif and various network protocols. Our expertise
in the use of state of the art programming techniques including C,
C++, Visual BASIC and Relational Databases allows us to develop
management information systems, real time graphics systems and
maintenance management systems. Our material handling
system solutions are based on current and future industry
standards with specialization in bar code based inventory control
and storing systems.
